I have recently unearthed a superb photograph of my grandfather Charles Albert Tyrell which appearts to have been taken upon his joining the railway police at Liverpool Street ( GER ?) as PC204 I guess in approx 1912. He served until the early 1950's as Sargeant unfortunately he collapsed whilst giving evidence and passed a few days later. I would be happy to send you a copy of the photo and the press cutting regarding his death if you would like it .

PS his youngest offspring (my fathers sister) is still with us aged 90 living in Romford, Essex.
